Objectives:
1) Recognize the benefits and limitations of
non-polarized and polarized dermoscopy
2) Ability to identify dermoscopic features suggestive
of a melanocytic lesion
3) Become familiar with the dermoscopic structures in
dermatofibromas, basal cell carcinomas, seborrheic
keratosis, hemangioma, squamous cell carcinoma and clear
cell acanthoma.
4) Become acquainted with the benign patterns
encountered in nevi and the ten melanoma specific
structures
